Effective March 13, 2020, the Berks County Treasurer’s office and the Berks County Tax Claim Bureau will No Longer Accept Cash
Effective March 13, 2020, the Berks County Treasurer’s office and the Berks County Tax Claim Bureau will:
NO LONGER ACCEPT CASH
Acceptable forms of payment are: Check or Money Order Only
Make Check(s) or Money Order(s) payable to: Berks County Treasurer
There are no exceptions to this policy
We recommend mailing payments or utilizing one of our drop boxes located at the entrance to the Service Center Building (hanging on wall to right after passing through Security) or the Courthouse (right inside the main entrance, to the left before steps). Enclose your payment in an envelope with your name, phone number, and list your bill number or parcel number to ensure your account is credited accurately.
Drop Box Hours:
Courthouse is available 24 hours a day/7 days a week
Services Center Mon.-Fri. 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.
