Sex Offender Unit

The Berks County Probation and Parole Sex Offender Unit provides intensive supervision to adult offenders sentenced to probation or parole for committing sexually offensive acts. The unit collaborates with a variety of law enforcement and treatment agencies to provide educational and/or therapeutic interventions to offenders and provide community protection, especially regarding real and/or potential victims.

The unit consists of 4 officers and their supervisor, whose role is to empower victims through their participation in the supervision process. Additionally, this unit conducts specialized risks assessments, Cognitive Behavioral Groups, and victim advocacy for the courts.

Megan's Law Registration

If you are currently under the supervision of Berks County Probation and Parole and are required to update your registration with the State Police you may complete registrations or updates in our office at 633 Court Street, 7th Floor Services Center, Reading Pa 19601. (With an appointment)

If you are unable to connect with a Unit officer to complete your registration or update or you are an individual no longer on supervision needing to complete your Megan's Law Registration in Berks County you may report to one of the sites below:
