Aging Matters to Us!
The Area Agency on Aging reaches out in the community to make people aware of agency programs and services available to older adults by participating in resource fairs and expos. The Area Agency on Aging is also available to present information on aging programs and services for community meetings, senior community centers and other public/community request.
Outreach participates in Aging Parent Fairs throughout the community to provide information and other assistance for adult children, spouses and caregivers seeking help, support and resources for their aging loved ones.
The agency provides a monthly show on Berks Community Television (BCTV) featuring information, issues, updates, activities and services pertinent to older adults and their families. The 30 minute show is taped live on the first Thursday of each month at 6 PM. The show is show on Comcast Channel 15 at different times throughout the month.
Berks County Area Agency on Aging is a partner in the Berks-Lancaster-Lebanon service area of the PA Link to Aging & Disability Resources. This statewide partner network is your “No Wrong Door” to long-term services and supports information for persons over age 60, persons with a disability, veterans, family members and caregivers.
