Friends Of The Parks

Friends Of The Parks

When land and historic properties are placed under county control, they are managed by the Berks County Parks and Recreation Department. The department uses the space to run programs and activities that enrich our community and educate our children.

Because the Parks and Recreation Department receives less than 1% of the overall County of Berks operating budget each year, it depends upon the generosity of people like you to make preservation efforts and programming possible.

The department partnered with the Berks County Community Foundation to establish the Friends of Berks County Parks Fund, which will provide much-needed support for years to come. By making a tax-deductible gift to the fund, you will help to secure the future of the parks and historic treasures of Berks County for generations to come.

Berks County Community Foundation develops, manages and distributes funds for charitable purposes in the community. The official registration and financial information of Berks County Community Foundation may be obtained from the Pennsylvania Department of State by calling toll free (within Pennsylvania) 1-800-732-0999. Registration does not imply endorsement.

If you would like to contribute to the Friends of Berks County Parks Fund, please follow the instructions at this link or print and mail back the form below.
